Spotlight Recipe-Puppy Chow

Ingredients: 9 cups any flavor Chex (or something similar) cereal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 cup of chocolate chips (try vanilla or mint chocolate chips for new flavor)
1/2 tea. vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar

Put peanut butter, margarine and chips in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave for 1 minute, then stir.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour all the cereal in a large bowl.
Pour peanut butter mix over the top of cereal and use a large spoon to mix together so that all the cereal is covered.

Now for the sugar, it works great to put small amounts of cereal mix into a baggie and pour some powdered sugar inside, then close baggie and shake until covered.

If you are giving puppy chow as Christmas gifts or classroom treats, then make a bunch of individual baggies. If you are serving a crowd, then dump it all into a big bowl.
